ABOUT SCOTT
Scott Stewart is a dynamic 47-year-old drummer and multi-percussionist from Louisville, Kentucky, whose passion for rhythm began at just five years old. Inspired by his father, who is also a musician, Scott has spent a lifetime behind the kit, building a career rooted in dedication, creativity, and the desire to inspire others to chase their own dreams.
A deeply versatile performer, Scott is currently a driving force for several projects across the region. As of December 2022, he is a proud member of Blacktop Rodeo and a contributing percussionist for Salt and Light Church and Southeast Christian Church, bringing powerful and heartfelt musicianship to every stage he steps onto.
Throughout his extensive career, Scott has toured and shared the stage with an impressive lineup of national artists, including The Kentucky Headhunters, The Bama Band, KMFDM, Flaw, Primer 55, Dallas Moore, Mickey Lamantia, Hatebreed, Coal Chamber, Cooper Allen, and 9voltRevolt, among many others. His ability to adapt to diverse genres, including country, rock, metal, and worship, has made him a sought-after drummer and multi-percussionist across the country.

Scott Stewart is charging full-speed ahead into the next chapter of his music career, and the momentum is only getting stronger!
From the stage to the studio to the sanctuary, Scott continues to build a powerful multi-platform presence that blends musicianship, ministry, and pure passion.
2025: A Year of Growth, Gigs & New Partnerships
Scott is actively booking 2025 show dates with Blacktop Rodeo, while also securing national fill-in opportunities with artists and bands across multiple genres. His calendar is already filling up fast, with more dates added weekly.
Big moves are happening behind the scenes as well. Scott has officially launched his 2025 Monthly Drum Newsletter, a year-long project featuring gear reviews, artist spotlights, devotionals, studio updates, touring recaps, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content for fans and fellow drummers.

In January 2023, Scott received the Centent Cymbals Stevie Award for Country Drummer of the Year, while Blacktop Rodeo earned multiple Appy Award and Red Carpet Award Show nominations.
In 2023 and 2024, Scott expanded his brand footprint by joining both the KickPort and Cympad International families—adding professional-grade gear support and strengthening his ties to the global drumming community.
Ministry & Music in Harmony
Scott’s ministry-focused drumming continues to grow as well:
- In June 2024, he began rotating in worship sessions with Southeast Christian Church, enriching both his musicianship and spiritual walk.
- In November 2024, he joined the Salt and Light Baptist Church Worship Team, where he continues to serve, grow, and worship through music.
Looking Ahead: 2026 Auditions & New Horizons
Scott is already preparing for major 2026 audition opportunities, stretching into new cities, genres, and performance environments. His drive to expand nationally, and potentially internationally, remains stronger than ever.
With new projects on the horizon, new gear in the arsenal, and new doors opening every month, Scott’s journey is accelerating into an exciting new season.
